What are AI credits?
AI credits are your allowance for automatic recognition. Use them to turn photos and receipts into inventory details, then review the suggestions before saving.
For example, identifying 5 items in a photo and requesting extra details for all 5 uses 10 credits.
- Identify items in a photo
- 1 credit per item detected. Allventory suggests names, categories, tags, and estimated values.
- Fill in extra item details
- 1 additional credit per selected item to read category-specific attributes. Asking AI to refresh those details uses credits again.
- Read a receipt
- 1 credit to read a receipt for an existing item, or 1 credit per recognized receipt line returned when creating new items.
- Scan a serial number
- 1 credit per scan to read a serial number from a photo.
Credits pay for completed analysis, even if you choose not to save the results. Adding or editing items manually, and attaching files without AI analysis, do not use credits.

How your AI balance works
Credits are shared by everyone in your inventory. Paid plans add credits each calendar month, including with annual billing. Unused credits carry over up to your plan’s maximum balance. Starter Trial gets 150 credits once, with no monthly refill.
When your trial ends
Choose a paid plan to keep using your inventory after 30 days. Without one, inventory access closes and your data is kept for a 30-day recovery period before deletion. Export anything you want to keep before the trial ends.
A few things you might be wondering.
How does the 30-day trial work?
Starter Trial is free for 30 days, with 100 items, one property, one user, 500 MB of storage, 150 one-time AI credits, and CSV export. One Starter Trial per user. No payment method is required, and it does not automatically become a paid subscription. Sharing, Excel exports, and insurance reports require a paid plan.
Can I add more than one item from a photo?
Yes. Allventory can identify multiple items in one photo and suggest details for each. Review and edit the suggestions before saving your selected items.
Can I keep receipts and manuals with an item?
Yes. Attach receipts, manuals, instructions, and photos to an item. Receipt and serial-number scanning can help fill in details.
Can my family use the same inventory?
Yes, on a paid plan. Home includes up to 3 users, Portfolio up to 10, and Professional up to 50, including the owner. Starter Trial is for one user. Inventory and storage allowances are shared across the account.
Can I create more than one inventory account?
Yes. Sign in to the Allventory web app at a.allventory.app, open Settings, then Inventory accounts, and choose Create another account. Each inventory has its own plan and billing. You can switch between your inventories in the web and mobile apps after signing in.
Can I export my inventory?
CSV export is available on every active plan, including Starter Trial. All paid plans also include Excel exports and insurance supporting documents. Reports help document belongings; they do not guarantee an insurer will accept a claim or valuation.
How is my information protected?
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Selected sensitive details and files have an additional encryption layer; searchable inventory fields do not. This is not end-to-end encryption. See our privacy policy for information about AI processing, analytics, and storage.
