1. Who we are and what this covers

Skutrix Inc provides Allventory. This policy covers the marketing website, web and mobile apps, and related inventory services. It describes information we collect, why we use it, who receives it, and choices available to you.

2. Information we receive

We receive sign-in identifiers, email addresses, profile details, inventory memberships, and the inventory information you or other members add. Inventory content can include item descriptions, serial numbers, values, property and location details, photos, receipts, documents, and information about people you enter. We also receive subscription status and purchase references from payment providers, website and app usage information when analytics is enabled, and limited device, request, and diagnostic data needed to operate and protect the service. Information comes from you, members you invite, your device or browser, and the identity, payment, and other providers used for requested features.

3. How we use information

We use information to authenticate accounts, store and synchronize inventories, manage permissions and subscriptions, deliver messages, perform features you request, provide support, prevent misuse, troubleshoot failures, and maintain the service. We use permitted website and app analytics to understand feature use and performance. Account identity is handled separately from inventory records, but authorized systems can connect them when necessary to provide the service.

4. Storage and security

We encrypt information in transit and at rest. Selected account and property details, filenames, and uploaded files have an additional application-level encryption layer. Authorized systems can read the item details needed for search, synchronization, and requested features. Access is restricted by inventory membership and service roles. Allventory is not end-to-end encrypted.

5. AI processing and external actions

When you request AI recognition or analysis, we send the selected photos, receipts, or related details needed for that task to the AI provider identified in our provider register. The provider receives those inputs in readable form to perform the task. Selecting a supported file as a receipt may start analysis when the app explains that action. Most suggestions are staged for your review before they change inventory, but the receipt workflow may save some extracted fields after processing. You can add and edit items without AI. AI results and value estimates may be inaccurate. Visual-search and resale-listing actions may send information to external services you choose to use, under their own terms and privacy practices.

6. Members and service providers

People invited to an inventory can access its information according to their assigned permissions. We use providers for cloud hosting and storage, account authentication, email delivery, AI processing, analytics, network protection, and subscription or payment processing. They receive information needed for their functions. App stores and payment services may act independently for some transactions. Our provider register describes the current services and the types of data involved.

7. Website and app analytics

The marketing website uses optional analytics only after you allow it; essential browser storage remembers your site choice. Site analytics can use an identifier and measure visits and interactions. The app has a separate “Share usage statistics” preference that is on by default and applies to your personal account on every signed-in device. You can turn it off under Personal account in the app’s Settings. When enabled, app analytics uses a separate, stable opaque identifier to link your signed-in activity across devices, along with provider-created app instance identifiers, and measures fixed feature, performance, and subscription events. Our custom analytics events exclude inventory content and direct account identifiers, but provider-generated events may include purchase information. Turning the preference off stops collection on that device immediately. Other signed-in devices check the account preference at sign-in, when they return to the foreground, and when you open Personal account settings; they stop collecting after receiving the change. A device that stays active does not periodically check for changes made on another device. If a check fails, collection pauses on that device. An offline device receives the change after it reconnects and checks the preference. While signed out, a device follows its last known analytics choice until you sign in. Neither analytics stream is anonymous. Advertising identifiers and personalization are disabled. Changing your website choice does not change the app preference, or vice versa. Skutrix Inc does not sell personal information or use these analytics for cross-context behavioral advertising.

8. Diagnostics and security operations

We process limited technical data to secure and troubleshoot the service. Ordinary application logs avoid inventory content, identities, and raw request URLs. If an AI model request fails, restricted internal diagnostics may include its non-image request text and provider response; the image bytes are not written to those logs. Network and hosting providers may process request information such as IP addresses and metadata. We keep diagnostic information for as long as reasonably needed to investigate failures, protect the service, and meet legal obligations.

9. Retention and deletion

We keep active inventory information to provide the service. Scheduling inventory deletion or reaching the end of an entitlement closes inventory access and starts a 30-day owner recovery period before purge. Deleting a personal login is separate: it removes that identity and its memberships, but active inventories shared with other owners remain. Deleting the sole owner’s identity can end recovery of an inventory already scheduled for deletion. Temporary export files and unconfirmed completed AI reviews expire automatically after their short availability periods. After the applicable recovery period, we remove inventory information from active systems and delete associated files through our cleanup process. Backup copies are removed on their backup lifecycle and are not available for ordinary account access. We retain limited information for as long as reasonably needed to determine trial eligibility, secure the service, resolve disputes, process billing, meet tax and accounting requirements, and comply with law. Payment providers and app stores may retain transaction information under their own policies and legal obligations.

10. Your choices and requests

You can manage and correct inventory information, review information linked to your login, export available inventory data, and request deletion in the app. Owners can manage inventory access and deletion. You can change the website analytics choice in this site’s Privacy settings and your personal account’s app analytics choice under Personal account in the app’s Settings. For other access, correction, deletion, or privacy requests, email privacy@skutrix.com. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information when the law allows or requires it. Additional rights may apply where you live. You can also contact your local privacy regulator if you believe your rights have not been respected.

11. Children

Allventory is a general-audience service available to people aged 13 and older, including teenagers organizing their own collections or participating in a shared household inventory. It is not directed to children under 13. Where applicable law requires parental authorization for a teenager’s use of the service or a particular use of their information, a parent or legal guardian must provide it. We do not ask for or verify age when you create an account; app-store age ratings describe app content and do not verify a user’s age. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information, contact privacy@skutrix.com. We will review the report and take steps required by applicable law.

12. Regional processing

Our application servers, private inventory database, and private file storage are hosted in the United States. Public website content may be delivered through a global network, but authenticated inventory and API responses are not cached by that network. Service providers receive information needed for their functions and may process or store it outside the United States. Processing locations vary by provider and service. We do not restrict access by country or location. Where applicable law requires additional protections for international transfers, we use the safeguards required by that law.

13. Changes to this policy

We will post a revision date and provide notice of material changes through the app, website, email, or other appropriate service channels when required. A change to how we use personal information will be assessed separately from a routine update to the provider register.
